The Four Wonderful Seasons, Everything Fall
The Four Wonderful Seasons
Welcome to The Four Wonderful
Seasons,
I hope you guys are enjoying
these last couple of weeks of summer, I know I am.
But with school right around
the corner I know you are doing the same thing that I’m doing, and that’s
getting these kids ready for back to school time. I remember when I was in
school I couldn’t wait for the first day of school to start so I could show off
my new school shoes, new bows and backpack. Nowadays the kids are not as eager
to go back and with all this new technology going on they really could care
less about their studies and more about who has the latest smart phone.
But enough about that, I
found a new recipe that
I can’t wait to try with my kids, and it’s a good treat
that I know they will love. A treat that we can close out summer with and
welcome in the Fall. Speaking of Fall, did I mention that fall is one of my
favorite seasons. Truth be told I love Fall more than any other season, it’s
just something about the leaves, comfort foods, hot tea, and cool breeze, and
please don’t forget a good book. I may be speaking for myself when I say this
but Fall is by far the best season ever. I love the Fall and the things that
comes with it. Especially the food. There’s so many crafty things you can do in
the Fall. The snacks, comfort food, and drink list is endless. And I have just
the right recipe to start is off with. Like I said before I have a treat that
we can end the summer with and start the fall off just right.
When I first made my Harvest
Popcorn I wasn’t sure how my kids would like it especially since it had a sweet
and salty taste to it. But to my surprise they loved it they not only ate it
all up they pretty much begged for more.
This is a great snack that you
and the kids can enjoy anytime of the day, and anytime of the year as well but
I prefer to make this during the Fall months.
Harvest Treat bags {or you
can use whatever kind of treat bags you like}
2 bags of Harvest Blend M&M’S
Pop your popcorn {make sure
to take all the seeds out you don’t want to bite down on and seeds when
enjoying this snack}
Place your popcorn on a
cookie sheet {make sure to spread it out so that the caramel can coat ever
kernel}
Melt your caramel {I bought
the caramel cubs and I melted them in the microwave} then pour the caramel over
the popcorn make sure to try and coat all of the popcorn but if you miss some
don’t worry.
Stir the popcorn around to
try and coat all the popcorn, after you have done this then place the popcorn
in a mixing bowl
Open the two bags of
M&M’S and Roles’ and pour them into the mixing bowl as well
Take the left over caramel
and pour it into the bowl then stir it around again
Then take the mixture and
place into the treat bags and serve
I hope your Guys enjoy My
Harvest Popcorn
